Born and raised in Dalby, Megan Pavey was recently presented with the Rotary Employee of the Year award at the recent Dalby Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards.
Nominations for this award are submitted by employers who believe their employee has given exceptional service to the business and does an excellent job overall. "There was no hesitation in putting Megan forward for this award, she is a hard worker and always puts our customers first," said Russell Addison, Business Development Manager GoldenWest Apprenticeships.

"I am very proud of myself," said Megan "and I truly appreciate the support I have received from GoldenWest Apprenticeships", she said.
Megan started with Golden West Dalby office in 2009 and was immediately sent off to attend a career expo. "From that very first day I have loved my job," said Megan. "Whilst I have been at Golden West I have completed my Certificate IV in Business and also completed my Diploma this year in May, and I have completed courses in Workplace Health and Safety.
"The best thing about my Traineeship and my Diploma was the support network of Golden West, and how proud they are of you when you complete. Not to mention my family and friends who are behind me 100 percent," said Megan.
Megan also likes to be involved in the local community and enjoys being part of the local Career Expos - as Secretary for the Chinchilla Expo this year and she has helped organise the Million Paws Walk.
